| Rush Sign Up |
| Although we are currently working on an online Rush Form to facilitate signing up for Kappa Rush, we still have not worked out some technical difficulties. If you are interested in rushing Kappa, please contact our rush chair, Mark Nelson. |
| Rush Events | ||
| Once rush begins (typically a month a half into the Fall semester) Kappas host several events specifically for the purpose of rushing. The goal of these events is to give all the rushees a chance to meet as many actives as possible. Although by no means required as part of receiving a bid, participation is highly encouraged. | ||
| Rush Dinners | ||
| Once a week we will organize a dinner at one of the many local restaurants. In addition to giving Actives and rushees the ability to converse in a casual environment, these events give freshman a chance to try something that isn't catered by Aramark or a national fast food chain. A break from the cafeteria is always a nice change of pace. | ||

As mentioned in the Social page, occasionally we will invite rushees to bring a date to one of our Semi-Formals. These dinners are usually cocktail attire and held in a private room at one of the finer restaurants in the Trinity area. |

Get Lost In Texas (or GLIT as it's more commonly known) is our biggest rush event of the year. We rent out a collection of cabins and have a large camping trip. Between Kappas, rushees, and our dates we typically have about 60-80 people in attendance. | ![]() Blake Callaway (PC 2003) telling stories about when he was an Active as Troy Weatherly and Adam Simmons enjoy reuniting with Alumni.
